Mrs. Evelyn Lesher, 42, Springdale, died Jan. 17 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born Nov. 1, 1932, at Bonanza, she was the daughter of Ira and Lucille Bailey Shiflett, a member of Bethany Bible Church and was office manager of Wheat Clinic.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Mike (Carla) Brown, Miss Barbara Byrd, Miss Denise Byrd and Miss Pamela Lesher, Springdale, and Miss Dana Lesher, Conway; her mother of Fort Smith; two brothers, Bill Shiflett, Cameron, Okla., and Frank Shiflett, Fort Smith; two sisters, Mrs. Ellis Burke, Saint Ann, Mo., and Mrs. Ben Woffard, Fort Smith; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in Nelson Chapel, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Tom Ellis, the Rev. Clifford Palmer and Dr. Ed Wheat officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Nelson.
Memorials may be made to Children's Colony, Conway, in care of First National Bank of Springdale.
