Delbert Musgrove, son of the late George William Musgrove and Mamie Elsie Cooper Musgrove, was born March 25, 1933 in Jumbo Arkansas. He departed his life May 19, 2012 in Calico Rock Arkansas at the age of 79 years, 1 month and 24 days. He spent his life as a son, brother, uncle and friend. He was a life long resident of Izard County. After graduating from Melbourne High School, he went on to become a simi-pro baseball player for the Melbourne Comets. He served four months and 25 days in the United States Army and then eight years in the Active Reserves. During his working years he was a painter and farmer. He was of the Baptist faith
