Gladys Lilly Lipton Scarcello, age 94, of Lonoke, Ark. died Tuesday October 2, at Baptist Hospital in North Little Rock, Ark. Born March 21, 1918 in Kansas City, Kan., a daughter of the late Matt Lipton and Veronika Cop Lipton she was a retired nurse, a Catholic and the widow of Samuel Scarcello.
Also, preceding her in death were brothers, David Anton Lipton, Ben Lipton, Frank Lipton, John Lipton, Steve Lipton, Lee Lipton and sisters, Rudolpha Steplock and Mary Helen Lipton. Survivors are nephews and nieces David Charles Lipton and spouse Brenda, Monticello, Ark., John M. Lipton and spouse Jenelle, Warren, Ark., Jane Lipton, England, Ark., Steve Lipton of Florida, and many other nieces and nephews. A special friend Sharon Loftis of Malvern, Ark.
Graveside services 2 p.m., Thursday, October 4, at Oakland Cemetery in Warren, Ark., by Frazer's Funeral Home.
