Ruth M. Brandeberry, 83, of Bella Vista, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Bates Medical Center. She was born May 1, 1909, at Gorham, Kan., to John R. and Hattie Carrie Benso Weidle. A homemaker, she moved to this area in 1971 from Russell, Kan., and was an active member of St. Theodore's Episcopal Church, Bella Vista.
Her husband, Wayne Francis "Bud" Brandeberry, died in 1989.
Survivors are a son, Norman Wayne Brandeberry of Bella Vista; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Cremation. A memorial service is set for 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Theodore's Episcopal Church, Bella Vista, with the Rev. Edwin K. Sisk Jr. officiating under direction of Callison-Lough Funeral Home, Bentonville.
Memorials may be made to St. Theodore's Episcopal Church; or St. Francis Boy's Home, P.O. Box 1340, Salina, Kan. 67402-9925.
