BELLA VISTA — Charles Henderson Dietrich, 74, of Bella Vista died Jan. 12, 2005, at his home. He was born Jan. 23, 1930, in Kansas City, Mo., to Earle and Carman Dietrich. He graduated from Kansas University with an M.B.A. degree in civil engineering.

He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War at the Frozen Reservoir. He worked for Colgate Co. for 37 years, retiring to Bella Vista, where he lived for 17 years. His interests included golf and computers. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Yolanda Dietrich.

Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Bonnie Dietrich of Bella Vista; three sons, Greg Dietrich and Paul Dietrich, both of Sacramento, Calif., and Charles A. Dietrich and wife Laura of Akron, Ohio; one daughter, Janine Dixler and husband Keith of Peoria, Ill.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Theodore's Episcopal Church in Bella Vista with the Rev. Edwin K. Sisk officiating.

Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to St. Theodore's Episcopal Church, 1001 Kingsland Road, Bella Vista, 72714.
