Chloe Gilbert Storey, 88, of Mtn. View entered into rest on December 1, 2010 in Mtn. View.Chloe was born May 10, 1922 in Locust Grove, Arkansas to Cailey N. and Vada (Morrison) Caston. She was a Christian and a member of White Water Missionary Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, worked as beautician and loved to sew and crochet. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.She is survived by her son, Jerry Duane Gilbert and his wife Barbara of Mtn. View; two sisters, Thelma Dobbins and Lelia Stewart; five grandchildren, Michael Gilbert, Doug Gilbert, Darin Brewer, Jerrice Brinkley, Kevin Brewer; eight great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, Cailey and Vada Caston; daughter, Orbalene Brewer; brother, Cleo Caston; two husbands Orba Gilbert and Thurlow Storey.Visitation is 12 – 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 3, 2010 at White Water Missionary Baptist Church, Mtn. View.Funeral Service is 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 3, 2010 at White Water Missionary Baptist Church, Mtn. View with Bro. Gary Don Flether and Bro. Phil Sutton officiating and interment in Flatwoods Cemetery, Mtn. View. Pallbearers were her grandkids.Roller Crouch Funeral Home, Mtn. View is in charge of the arrangements.
