Helen Geneva Venice Huett, 88, of Viola, Ark., died Feb. 24, 2008, at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mountain Home, Ark. She was born in Gamaliel, Ark., on May 30, 1919, the daughter of the late Clarence George and Ethel Maxine (Walker) Talburt.
She worked as a homemaker and a farmer. She was the widow of Horace Virgil Huett. They married at Elizabeth, Ark., on Sept. 21, 1935.
She was a member of Moody Church of Christ at Moody, Mo.
She is survived by: two daughters, Teresa Wray (Elwin) of Viola and Debbie Kinder (Dennis) of Viola; two sons, Earl Huett (Reba) of Viola and Royce Huett (Renee) of West Plains, Mo.; one brother, Dale Talburt (Kay) of Viola; a brother-in-law, Junior Huett (Joyce) of Elizabeth; a sister-in-law, Ethel Huett of Elizabeth; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by: her husband; parents; a sister, Virginia Luther; and a great-grandson, Jordan Kinder.
Funeral services were held at the Elizabeth Church of Christ at Elizabeth, Ark., Feb. 26 with Bro. Alan Moss and Bro. Frank Plachy officiating. Burial followed in the Elizabeth Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem.
Pallbearers were Pat Huett, Jamey Huett, Daniel Kinder, Wayne Collins, Jacob Brown and Darren Hardecke.
The family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House, Mountain Home, Ark 72653.
