LYONS, Ada Helen MINNICK - Mrs. Will C. Lyons died Monday morning at the Home Hospital following an operation performed Saturday. Mrs. Lyons had been ill for several weeks. Funeral services were held at the Christian church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 and were conducted by Rev. Ben H. Moore, pastor of the Presbyterian church. Mr. Lyons and family lived on the Dream Valley farm east of Rogers. Ada Helen Minnick was born 45 years ago in Jasper County, Illinois and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.A. Minnick. She came to Rogers with her parents 42 years ago. She married Will C. Lyons 28 years ago and he survives her as do three children; Mrs. Emma Kennan of Rogers; Marlin Lyons of Springfield and Everett Lyons of Rogers. She is also survived by her mother; two sisters, Mrs. Riley Vandover of Rogers and Mrs. J.H. Dunn of Chicago; and two brothers, Jess Minnick of Springfield and Will Minnick of the Parks Dry Goods Co. of Rogers. Mrs. Lyons had a very large circle of warm friends owing to her long residence here and her death is a matter of grief and regret to the entire community.
