Liza May Martin, 83, Rogers, died Oct. 9 in St. Johns Hospital, Tulsa, Okla. Born Aug. 16, 1893, at Rogers to James and Letitia Kelly Fielding, she was a lifetime resident of Rogers and the surrounding communities. She was a resident of the Applespur community.
Survivors include two sons, Richard L. Martin, Rogers, and George W. Martin, Tulsa; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth May Bell Richards, Batesville; three brothers, Virgil and J.B. Fielding, Rogers, and William Lot Fielding, Yale, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Fields, Rogers, and Mrs. Hattie Warren, Apache Junction, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Burns Funeral Home Chapel, Rogers, with the Rev. W.E. Bland officiating. Burial will be in the Rogers Cemetery under the direction of Burns.
