Reba Newman Anderson, age 87, of Lavaca, Arkansas passed away Jan. 23, 2009, in Clear Lake, Texas. She was born May 31, 1921, in Sebastian County, Arkansaas. She was a member of Rye Hill Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her son, Lloyd Gene Childress, and a grandson, Brian Childress; her parents, Perry and Clara Newman; brother, Enloe Newman; and sister, Beatrice Johnson.
She is survived by daughters, Sue Redding of El Monte, Calif, Debrah Olexiewicz of Paradise, Calif, Michelle Delp of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif, and Melody Alkuteifani of Houston, Texas; 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
