Warren -
Mae Ratterree Lee, 98, of Warren, died Tuesday at Bradley County Medical Center at Warren. She was born July 24, 1908, at Todd, a daughter of the late Garland Virgil Ratterree and Mary Elizabeth Allen.
She was reared and received her early education at Star City.
She was owner/operator of Lee's Grocery Store at Dexter during and after World War II.
She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
She was also a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Rowell of Warren and Patsy Lee Barrett of Tucson, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by, in 1999, her husband, Jessie Rudy Lee, whom she married January 24, 1927, at Pine Bluff; one daughter, Mona Joann Lee; one brother, Edward Ratterree; and her stepmother, Ora Lee Ratterree.
Graveside services will be at 10 a. m. Saturday in Butler/Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Star City by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors with the Rev. John Kidwell officiating.
