SILOAM SPRINGS — Evelyn Marie Thompson Jones, 76, of Siloam Springs died April 4, 2004, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born July 29, 1927, in Siloam Springs to Ernest C. and Mary Frances Stout Thompson. She was a former resident of Harrison. She was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God in Harrison. She married Charles Raymond Jones in 1946. She was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren, Teresa Ann
Jones and Mary Elizabeth Jones.
Survivors include her husband, Charles of the home; three children, Barbara Cheryl Jones of Siloam Springs, Charles E. "Junior" Jones and wife Judy of Conway and Rebecca Marie Jones Hendrix and husband Jim of Harrison; five grandchildren: two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Marvin Thompson and Bill Thompson, both of Siloam Springs; two sisters, Bernice Woodruff of Siloam Springs and Bonnie Rae Newton of Gentry.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs with Eddie Hodges and Howie Moss officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
