SILOAM SPRINGS — Wynonah Inez Barbee, 84, of Siloam Springs died Oct. 18, 1995, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 8, 1911, at Fort Jesup, La., to Joseph Leslie Barbee Jr. and Viola Holladay Barbee. She attended Louisiana Normal Collede where she earned a bachelor's degree and later attended Northwestern State University earning a master's degree. She moved to Siloam Springs in 1937 and taught school there until 1944, before moving to Kansas where she taught in schools until 1975. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Siloam Springs.

Survivors include one sister, Josephine Gibson of Many, La.; one brother, John Barbee of Gentry; three nephews; two nieces; one great-nephew; two great-nieces.

Graveside services were Oct. 20 in Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Steven Stall officiating. Arrangements were by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
