Rogers — Virgil Ray McMormick, 74, of Rogers died April 9 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. He was born July 30, 1898 in Siloam Springs and was a structural engineer in Detroit, Mich. until his retirement in 1963. He was a member of the Congregationalist Church, and the Iron Workers of America Union.
He is survived by a daughter Miss Jeanne Barbara McCormick of Llano, Tex.; a brother, Clyde and a sister, Mrs. Anna Marie Pickerel both of Independence, Mo.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Burns Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rogers Cemetery.
