BENTONVILLE — Ora "Billie" Stanley, age 97, of Bentonville, died Feb. 12, 2014, at Innisfree Health and Rehab in Rogers. She was born in Glade, Ark, on Oct. 2, 1916, to the late George and Frances (Rhubottom) Dawson.
She worked for many years as a cook in the cafeteria at Bentonville High School.
She is survived by her sons, Harold Stanley of Odessa, Texas, Jim Stanley and wife, Dana, of Bentonville; sister, Clara Fern Turney of Kansas City, Mo.; and grandchildren, Diana Stanley of San Jose, Calif., Chad Stanley of San Antonio, Texas, Angela Stanley of Fayetteville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Achel Stanley; seven siblings; and a grandson, Michael Stanley.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14. 2014, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday in the chapel of Rollins Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
