Obituary - Katy Frank Ladd Toney, 95, of Crossett died Friday, October 13, 2000. An alumnus of Arkansas A&M College, she was a teacher, an accomplished seamstress, a homemaker and a long-time member of the Crossett First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Toney; a daughter, Jo Ann Toney; her parents, Frank and Margaret Ladd; and four sisters, Lillian Johnson, Buford Berry, Mary Scribner and Margaret Cheeseman.
Survivors include a daughter, Polly T. Roberson and husband Grit of Crossett; two grandchildren, John W. Robertson and Toney Harrington; three great-grandchildren, Kelli Edgar, Adam Edgar, and Chad Robertson; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Grave-side services were at 4 p.m. Saturday, October 14, at the Snyder Cemetery with arrangements by Jones Funeral Home of Crossett. Pallbearers were Byron Easterling, Jimmy Johnson, Owen Johnson, Jay Scribner, Ken Cravens and John Carty.
The family requested memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church of Crossett, 500 Main Street, Crossett AR 71635.
