Obituary - Annie Kay Perkins, 89, of the Snyder community outside Hamburg died Thursday, March 7, 2002, at the Beverly Health Care of Hamburg. A native of McGehee but a resident of the Snyder community for the past 32 years, she was a homemaker and member of the Hamburg Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patsy June Crosswhite; her parents, Dave and Ruby Barnett Brondage; two brothers, Herman and John Brundage; and two sisters, Bertha Clapton and Jessie Coon.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Mr. Curtis G. Perkins; one son, Curtis Don Perkins of Monticello; one daughter, Betty Jane Bussell of Hamburg; two sisters, Dora Harris of Fort Gibson, OK, and Flora Mironor of Morgantown, WV; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 10, in the Cromwell Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Joe Sponaugle officiating. Pallbearers were David Crosswhite, J. J. Elmore, Chris Elmore, James Hubbard, John Harris and John Carpenter. Burial followed services at the Snyder Cemetery.

Obituary - Curtis Glen Perkins, 100, of the Snyder community died Monday, December 3, 2012, at Union General Hospital in Farmerville, LA. A native of Branson, MO, a resident of the Snyder community outside Montrose, he was a retired auto salvage dealer and a member of the Church of Christ in Hamburg. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by one son, Curtis Don Perkins of Baton Rouge, LA; one daughter, Betty Jean Bussell of the Snyder community; five grandchildren, Donna Cox Busby and husband Jamie, Linda Oliver, Loretta Carpenter, Glenn David Crosswhite and Donna Crosswhite; seven great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives, loved ones and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Kay Brundage Perkins; one daughter, Patsy Perkins Crosswhite; one granddaughter, Nancy Perkins; his parents, Jim and Nettie Williams Perkins; one brother, Rupert Perkins; and three sisters, Louise Johnson, Alice Neptune and Bonnie Duncan.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 6, in the Cromwell Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Joe Sponaugle officiating. Pallbearers were James Nelms, Dale Cane, Johnny Price, Jr., Herman Mormon, Joe Sharrick and Rocky Salvage. Honorary pallbearers were Clarence Kelly, Mike Shaver and Anthony Lowrey. Burial was in the Snyder Cemetery. Guest book at www.cromwell funeralhome.net.
