Funeral services for Thomas J. Walker, aged 88, who died Thursday, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Proctor's Chapel. Mr. Walker was born in Bluff City, and had been a resident of Camden for the past twenty five years. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rose Dumas Walker, Director United Charities; two daughters, Mrs. John Hendriks, Decatur, Alabama and Mrs. Dan Mathis of Silver Springs, Maryland; two sons, H. H. Walker of Lubbock, Texas and Lt. Col. (ret) G. P. Walker of Colorado Springs, Colo; fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Burial will be at Bluff City. (Camden News - February 2, 1968)
