Services for Lesley Ray Jones, 61, of Dover, Tenn., formerly of Pocahontas, will be at 2 this afternoon in the McNabb funeral Home chapel with James Coker and J. P. Quinn officiating. Burial will follow in the Masonic Cemetery at Pocahontas.
Jones died Saturday at the St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. He was born in Pocahontas.
Survivors include his wife Clauddette Jones of the home, one son, Johnny Van Jones of Memphis; two brothers, Jessey Jones of Maynard and Steve Jones of Pocahontas; five sisters, Joyce Dement and Bonnie Wilkerson of Pocahontas, Mary Fay Spaulding of Phoenix, Ariz., Betty Sue Linbaugh and Kathy Ballew, both of Hoxie.

Mrs. Claudette Jones, 60, of Monette, died Sunday at the Lakeside Nursing Center in Lake City. Born in Evening Shade, she had lived in Monette four years and was formerly of Dover, Tenn. She was a homemaker, a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and the Black Oak Home Demonstration Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Ray Jones, who died in 1989.
Survivors include a son, Johnny Jones of Monette; a sister Fonda Lybarger of WInfield, Kan.; and six brothers, Ted Qualls of Greers Ferry, Elbert Qualls of Chesterfield, Mo., Boyce Qualls of Florissant, Mo., Terry Qualls of Morris Chapel, Tenn., Jerry “Chub” Qualls of Monette, and Robert Qualls of Black Oak.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 1 this afternoon at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, with Revs. Clarence Cornish and J. P. Quinn Officiating. Burial will follow at the Masonic Cemetery in Pocahontas under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.
Active pallbearers will be Bill Qualls, Danny Qualls, Rusty Qualls, Kirk Qualls, Brice Qualls, and Boyce Qualls.
Nephews and great nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation has been scheduled for 9 – 11 this morning at the funeral home.
