August 25, 1886 - July 19, 1967
Mrs. Tye Turner, aged 80, of the Chidester Road, formerly of Reader, died in a local hospital Wednesday at 8:10 p.m. She was a member of the Maul Community Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, James Weaver of Cabot, Augzie Turner, of Fort Smith, and Charlie Turner of Spenard, Alaska; five daughters, Mrs. Johnnie Lou Oliver, of New Orleans, Mrs. Margaret Franklin of Prescott, Mrs. Juanita Spears of Camden, Mrs. Wanda Liggio of New Orleans, La. and Mrs. Mable Durant of Lawrence, Kansas, two brothers, Malvern sand Homer Prince of Camden; two sisters, Miss Lola Prince of Camden, and Mrs. Mae Heard of Pineland. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Reader Baptist Church with burial in the Bluff City Cemetery by Proctor Funeral Service. (Camden News - July 20, 1967)
