Hulen Penn, 85, of Pocahontas, died Saturday at Pocahontas Health Care & Rehab Center. He was a son of Almus Herman and Nancy Ethel (Million) Penn. He was a member of Pyburn Street Chruch of Christ, a Army veteran of World War 11. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Isabelle Smith Penn, brothers, Herman "Pete" Penn and William "Bill" Penn, and sisters Elma Dauck and Josephine Hills. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Stayton Penn of the home, three sons, Frankie Penn of Pocahontas, Ron Penn of Union, MO. and Tom Cooper of Pocahontas; a sister-in-law, Marlene Penn of Deming, NM; four sisters, Kathryn Taylor and Clara Eads of Yuma, AZ., Zelma Shipman of Myrtle Creek, OR., and Barbara Nibert of Hot Springs, AR. 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
