Mrs. Edith Frasier, 27 years old, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.B. Patterson of Pea Ridge, died in a Wichita, Kans. hospital Thursday afternoon following an operation for appendicitis about a week ago. The body will be brought to Pea Ridge Saturday and funeral services will be held from the Baptist church at Pea Ridge at 2:30 o’clock Saturday afternoon. AD. Callison will have charge of arrangements. Mrs. Frasier with her sister, Miss Kathryn Patterson, also of Wichita, visited their parents at Pea Ridge shortly before Mrs. Frasier was stricken ill. Her parents left Pea Ridge Wednesday morning for Wichita and were at their daughter’s bedside at the time of her death. Mrs. Frasier has been in Wichita the last ten years and was married to Curtis Frasier, a former Pea Ridge resident, about seven years ago. They have made their home in Wichita since. Besides her husband and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.B. Patterson, Mrs. Frasier is survived by two sisters, Kathryn Patterson of Wichita and Jo and one brother, Don, of Pea Ridge.

Rev. John Hall of Pea Ridge conducted the funeral service for Mrs. Edith Patterson Frazier Sunday in the new Baptist church. A mixed quartet sang several songs with Mrs. John Hall accompanist for the singers. The casket was covered with floral offerings from friends in Pea Ridge and in Wichita, Kansas, the home of Mrs. Frazier since leaving Pea Ridge ten years ago. Mrs. Frazier died following an operation for appendicitis in a hospital in Wichita. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.B. Patterson, a brother, Don, and two sisters, Kathryn and Jo. She was born and reared at Pea Ridge, a member of one of the oldest pioneer families of this section.

Mrs. Curtis Frazier, who died at her home in Wichita Thursday afternoon, was brought to Pea Ridge where funeral services were held for her at the Baptist church Saturday afternoon. Interment was made in Buttrams Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Frazier was Miss Edith Patterson before her marriage a few years ago. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Patterson and grew to womanhood in Pea Ridge vicinity.
