Star City -
John Willis Throneberry, 84, a retired farmer died yesterday at his home here.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lillie White Throneberry; three sons, Alford and John Throneberry of Pine Bluff and Wilbur Throneberry of Star City; three daughters, Mrs. Delbert Trantham and Mrs. R. J. Clary of Star City; and Mrs. Edgar Burr of California; one brother, Joe Throneberry of Gould; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Keahey of McGehee and Mrs. Dealy Blake of Star City; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted today at Butler Church by the Rev. H. D. Almond and the Rev. Donald Atkinson.
Burial was in Butler Cemetery by Buie Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Floyd Meeks, Easel Whitten, Otis -----?, Palmer McFalls, Bud Rice, and Curtis Ratterree.

Star City - Mrs. Lillie Elgin White Throneberry, 94, of Star City, died Wednesday here at the Gardner Nursing Home. She was the widow of John W. Throneberry.
She was a daughter of the late John and Lue White of Star City.
She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Wilbur Throneberry of Star City, Alfred Throneberry and John Throneberry, both of Pine Bluff; three daughters, Mrs. Ira Burr of Fallbroke, California, Mrs. Averil Trantham and Mrs. Ruby Clary, both of Star City; a brother, Henry B. White of Star City, two sisters, Mrs. Lena Phillips of Pine Bluff and Mrs. Myrtle Bluff, of Springfield, Missouri; and 20 grandchildren.
Funeral services were today at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church by Reverend James Etheridge and Dr. Coan Doyle. Burial was in Butler Cemetery by Buie Funeral Home of Star City.
