Averil Trantham, 98, of Little Rock, died June 19, 1994, at Southwest Hospital.
Born May 23, 1896, at Star City, she was a daughter of the late John Willis and Dolly White Throneberry.
She was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church near Star City.
Survivors include a son, Holland Rogers of Little Rock; a daughter, Levetra Greenwood of California; two brothers, John Throneberry of Pine Bluff and Wilbur Throneberry of Star City; two sisters, Ruby Clary of Star City and Ira Burr of Montana; six grandchildren; and many great and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Griffin Funeral Home of Star City with Onas Gray officiating. Burial will be in Butler/Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
