Mrs. Rhoda Strode, 54, died July 19 at her home. Born Sept. 10, 1919 at Wayton, she was the daughter of John and Minnie Holland, and a member of Disciples of Christ, Jesus Name Church.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Corby L. Strode of the home; three brothers, Ottis Holland and Carl Holland, Clarksville, and George Holland, Phoenix, Ariz.; eight sisters, Mrs. Ova Henderson and Mrs. Thelma Taylor, Wayton, Mrs. Oma Carlton, Mrs. Lorene Pate and Mrs. Ruth Norton, Cane Hill, Mrs. Audie Shelton, Wichita, Kan., Mrs. Ardith Murr, Washington, Pa., and Mrs. Margie Wood, Clarksville.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in Sisco Chapel with the Rev. Hurston Mays officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Sisco.
