Donna Jane Prater, passed from this life Oct. 19, 2005, after a long battle with cancer. Donna is now in peace with angel wings watching over us. She was born Feb. 16, 1943, in West Siloam Springs, Okla. She grew up and lived most of her life around West Siloam Springs. Donna was an excepticnal Christian lady who has touched many lives. Donna is an example of family love, an ideal grandmother, mother, sister and daughter. She accomplished what we all strive for — a beautiful circle of loving family, something that will carry on for generations. Donna has joined her beloved daughter, Mechele Desiree Prater, and daddy, R.C. Wilkerson. Mom is loved and will be missed by all.
Survivors are her mother, Ruth Wilkerson; her loving son, Christopher Prater and wife Connie Prater; beautiful daughter, Stephanie Reed and husband Ricky Reed, followed by youngest, Angela Pierce and husband Mark Pierce. Donna has 12 grandchildren, Josh, Jennifer, Nathan, Lauren S., Colton, Derek, Jake, Lauren E., Brooklyn, Keifer, Keetun, and baby Charlie.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23 at Bethel United Methodist Church in West Siloam Springs with Mr. Larry Ellis officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 22 at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
