Eva Matie Mounger, 68 year old resident of Siloam Springs, died Saturday, April 21, in the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Mounger was born September 26, 1910, at Decatur, Ark., the daughter of James and Ada Barnes. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, O.D. Mounger of the home; one son, Carl Mounger of Siloam Springs; two daughters, Mrs. Judy Gardenhire of Mansfield, Ark., and Mrs. Ruth Jones of Siloam Springs; one brother, J. D. Barnes of Huntington Beach, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Beard of Corona, Calif., and Mrs. Vida Weatherman of Houston, Texas; also six grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mounger were held Monday, April 23, at 2:00 p.m. in the Pyeatte Chapel with Rev. Jack Steele officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Pyeatte Funeral Service.
