Frank Sutherland, 88, of Siloam Springs died Sept. 28 in Woodland Manor Nursing Home, Siloam Springs. Born Nov. 10, 1890, in Madison County, he was the son of George and Susan Henderson Sutherland. He was a retired farmer and member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Louie Sutherland of Denver, Colo.; a daughter, Mrs. Leta Woolridge of Greeley, Colo.; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Pyeatte Funeral Chapel, Siloam Springs, with the Rev. S.R. Bynum officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Mary Esther Sutherland resident of Siloam Springs died early Saturday morning at the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. Mrs. Sutherland was born February 12, 1902, at Colcord, Okla., and had been a lifetime resident of this area.

Survivors include her husband, Frank of the home; one step-son, Louie Sutherland of Denver, Colo.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Leta Woolridge of Colorado; two brothers, Walter Thompson of Tulsa, Okla., and Lee Thompson of Grove, Okla.; three sisters, Miss Etta Thompson of Siloam Springs, Mrs. Myrtle Asher of Kansas, Okla., Mrs. Velma Owens of Gentry, Ark.; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sutherland were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Pyeatte Chapel with Rev. Ted Dorton officiating. Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Pyeatte Funeral Service.
