SILOAM SPRINGS — Helen Marie Strickland Allum, 87, of Siloam Springs died Jan. 29, 2008, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab. She was born May 12, 1920, in Kansas City, Mo., to Carl A.M. and Karen Kristeen Jensen Bergenstal.
She retired after 30 years as the city clerk from Siloam Springs.
Survivors include three sons, Steve Strickland and wife Ruthann of Bentonville, Doug Strickland and wife Renae of Van Buren, Mark Strickland and wife Virginia of Philomath, Ore.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Country Doctor Museum, P.O. Box 1004, Lincoln, 72744.
Arrangements are by Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
