*Obituary
Gladys M. Smith, age 71, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2010, at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Born in Sylamore, Arkansas, on November 26, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Clara Hill Sutterfield.
Mrs. Smith was a homemaker, and her religious belief was Protestant.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Bill, Carlos, Junior, and Bob Sutterfield; and two sisters, Elsie Blair and Pauline Brewer.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Clois E. Smith of Heber Springs; one daughter, Veronica Wirges and her companion, Chris Long, of North Little Rock; one brother, Perry Sutterfield; and two sisters, Debbie Stewart and Imilea Cloninger. Mrs. Smith is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.
Graveside services and interment will be held Saturday, Sept. 4, at 2:00 p.m. at the Center Chapel Cemetery.
