Mrs. Lavina B. Aufderheide, 81, Rogers, died this morning at a local hospital. Born May 30, 1887, in Austin, Minn., she had lived in Rogers for 64 years and was the oldest member of the First Christian Church, having joined the church in 1904. She was also a member of the Eastern Star who had been presented the 50-year membership pin.
Survivors include fieve sons, Maurice Aufderheide, Grass Valley, Calif.; Charles Aufderheide, Pomona, Calif.; James Aufderheide, Madrid, Spain; and Rhodes Aufderheide and Rodman Aufderheide, both of Rogers; a sister, Mrs. Harold Houser, Chico, Calif.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Callison Funeral Chapel, Rogers, with Rev. Ernest O'Donnell officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery under the direction of Callison Funeral Home, Rogers.
