Mrs. Lizzie Taylor Risher Parrott, age 94, of Warren, died Monday April
4 at Pine Lodge Nursing Home. She was born March 11, 1900 at New
Edinburg, a daughter of the late George A. Taylor and Florence Jeffers
Taylor. She was a homemaker, a member of Calvary Baptist Church and
the widow of John B. Risher and Tom Parrott. Surviving are 2 sons,
Hugh Risher and J.B. Risher, both of Houston, Texas; 1 daughter, Mary
Clara Ginnett, White Hall; 1 step son, Ivyle Risher, Rosenberg, Texas;
1 sister, May Walker, Warren; 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren
and 3 great, great grandchildren. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m.
Wednesday, April 6, at Frazer's Chapel by Rev. David Hunter and Rev.
Todd West. Janice Sullivan was organist, Sherri Hunter the pianist and
Johnny Risher, David Hunter, Chris Hunter, Sherri Hunter and Jack
Risher sang. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were John Risher, Tom Risher, Roger Ginnett, Jack Risher,
David Hunter, Jr., and Marshall Risher.
