Joseph Larkin Gardner, aged 86 of Hampton, AR, died Friday, October 31, 1986 in Union Medical Center, El Dorado. He was born May 1, 1900 in Tinsman, AR., son of John Franklin Gardner and Sarah Ann Watson. He is survived by his wife, Ida Benson Gardner of Hampton; one son J. T. Gardner of Dallas, TX. and two daughters, Anita Rigal of West Monroe, LA., and Carolyn Greene of Little Rock, AR.; one brother, Brady Gardner of California and one sister, Sallie Lou Reddin of Hampton, by four grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was buried in Means Cemetery near Hampton by Benton Funeral Home.
