William Rex Roe, of Salem, son of the late Creston Roe and Lida Laymon Roe, was born September 27, 1943, in Viola, Arkansas. He died Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home at the age of 69 years 1 months and 3 days.

He was united in marriage to Donna Ann Cochran July 18, 1967 in Wheeling, Arkansas. One son was born to this union.

He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and retiring after twenty years of service.

Survivors include his son, Lindle Roe and wife Marlena of N. Little Rock, Arkansas; one grandchild, Creston Roe also of North Little Rock; his mother; and his sister Barbara Roe of Salem. He was preceded in death by his wife; and his father.

Funeral Services are Friday, November 2, 2012 at 1 pm at Cox-Blevins Chapel with burial to follow at Viola Cemetery, Viola, under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem.

Pallbearers will be, Justin Gleghorn, Adam McCall, Creston Roe, Ben Leslie, David Dawson, and Bobby C, Roe.
