Eloise Irene "Pat" Spencer, 95, of Fairfield Bay, passed away May 14, 2012. Born February 28, 1917, in Grove City, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Althea Staples Black. Mrs. Spencer was a retired secretary for Fairfield Communities, Inc. and had been active in many organizations, including the award-winning VFW District 6 Ladies Auxiliary Color Guard, American Legion Auxiliary, Lions Club, Fairfield Bay Chamber of Commerce, Indian Hills Golf Club, and was a member of Fairfield Bay United Methodist Church.
Her husband, Raymond E. "Mike" Spencer, and son, Roger Spencer, preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Michael L. Spencer of Seattle, Wash.; grandchildren, Shane Spencer, Rachel Reeves, Krista Hopkins, and Christian Spencer; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation Friday, 10 a.m., Fairfield Bay United Methodist Church; service beginning at 11 a.m. Interment Eglantine Cemetery.
