HEWITT, Jas. - Jas. Hewitt of Siloam Springs, who owns a farm southwest of Gravette, came up to visit his place Saturday and while driving down a steep hill near N.B. Hendren's farm his horse either ran away or in some manner Mr. Hewitt was thrown from the wagon to the ground. Mr. Hendren found him lying there a short time afterward with a deep wound on his head from which he died a few minutes later. The body was taken back to Siloam that night. Mr. Hewitt leaves a wife and large family of grown children.
