Thomas W. Lacy, age 74, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2009, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Heber Springs. Born in Ida on July 31, 1934, he was the son of Dovie (Higgs) Rackley and the late Jess Lacy.
Mr. Lacy worked in the logging business and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, James Lacy and Jessie (Bob) Lacy.
Mr. Lacy is survived by his wife, Jane Lacy, one son, Bryan Lacy, one stepson, Mark Lacy; his mother, Dovie Rackley of Drasco; two brothers, Edward Rackley of Wilburn and Danny Rackley of Heber Springs; two sisters, Barbara Webb of Drasco and Sue Glenn of Wilburn; and his sister-in-law, Nellie Lacy of Wilburn. Mr. Lacy is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.
