Tressie M. (Pate) Williford, 80, passed away Saturday. Mrs. Williford was born Feb. 23, 1928, in Enola, and raised in Mt. Vernon, a daughter of the late Barney B. and Charity (Lusty) Pate. Mrs. Williford was also preceded in death by her husband, John King Williford Jr., who died May 2, 2004; and her daughter, Barbara J. Williford. Tressie was a loving mother, homemaker and a member of the Enola Church of Christ.

She is survived by her children, John K. Williford III of Grass Valley, Calif., Larry J. Williford and wife Brandi of San Bernardino, Calif., Vicky Williford of Conway, Diane Stevens and husband Johnny of Conway, Mary Green and husband Robert of Conway, Thomas Williford and wife Valerie of Conway, Kennith Williford and wife Cheryl of Rialto, Calif., Linda Fasola of Kenner, La., and Richard Williford of Conway; sisters, Muriel Bradford, Nora Root and Dorothy Searcy; one brother, Barney Pate; Tressie was a loving grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother to 29 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Jimmy Lusty will officiate, with burial to follow in Romance Cemetery.
