Evelyn Louise Turney 91, of McGehee passed away Friday September 24, 2011 at Delta Memorial Hospital in Dumas AR.
She loved and was a huge fan of Razorback Football and tailgating, proud of the Razorback Foundation, and a supporter of the Sherriff Ranch.
Mrs. Turney was born to the late Talbert and Pernie Crider on December 29, 1919 in Quitman, AR. Besides her parents she is also preceded by her husband Dr. L. R. Turney, seven brothers, and one sister.
She is survived by a son Bill Turney of McGehee, a daughter Dr. Ellen Turney of Conway, and a sister Mary Wilson of Conway.
Funeral Service will be held 10:00am Tuesday September 27, 2011 at First Baptist Church in McGehee AR. Burial will be 3:00pm at Center Point Cemetery in Quitman AR. Visitation will be from 6 to 8pm Monday September 26, 2011 at Griffin Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers the family ask memorials be made to the McGehee Fire and Ambulance Department, Hwy 4 W., McGehee AR 71654.
