Mrs. Roxie Salsbury Lacy, 91, Fayetteville, died May 27 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born Jan. 24, 1884, in Kentucky, she was the daughter of Marion and Mary Jane Martin Franklin and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include eight sons, Vernon Salsbury, Stant Salsbury, Jessie Salsbury and Vol Salsbury, Fayetteville, Ray Salsbury, Goshen, Robert B. Salsbury, Lincoln, Hogan Salsbury, Kokomo, Ind., and Ward Salsbury, Elkins; six daughters, Mrs. Troba McGuire, Mrs. Opal Tisdale, Mrs. Maxine Tando and Mrs. Beatrice Smith all of Fayetteville, Mrs. Cecil Johnson, Elkins, and Mrs. Marjorie Smith, Taft, Calif.; 20 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in Round Mountain Church with elder Harlan Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Round Mountain Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
