Alene Moon, age 94, of Searcy died Thursday, November 27, 2008. She was born in the Center Hill community, April 12, 1914, the daughter of David and Callie Sowell Nokes.
She was the widow of Neelly Moon and a member of the West Side Church of Christ.
Mrs. Moon was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother; Bernie Nokes, 2 sisters; Annie Christy and Odell Willmon.
Surviving are a son; Maurice Moon and his wife Shirley of Searcy, and her daughter; Doris Pruitt of Searcy. 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
Burial will be in Romance Cemetery.
