Neva Pearl Wilson, age 89, of Tumbling Shoals, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2004, at Southridge Village Nursing Center in Heber Springs. Born in Parsons, Tennessee, on September 24, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Tennie (Faulkner) Price. A former resident of Weiner, Arkansas, Mrs. Wilson had been a resident of Tumbling Shoals since 1967. She was a homemaker and a member of Chastain Chapel General Baptist Church and the Women's Missionary Society. Mrs. Wilson enjoyed flowers and gardening, quilting with the ladies at church, and crocheting. She was a deacon's wife and was preceded in death by her husband, Walter A. Wilson, in 1990. Mrs. Wilson was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Walter Wilson, Jr.; and one daughter, Shirley Ann Wilson. Survivors include three daughters, Wilma Smith, Mavis Elrod, and Velma Sanderson and her husband, John, all of Tumbling Shoals, three grandsons, two step granddaughters, two great-grandsons, two great-granddaughters, one step great-grandson, and two step great-granddaughters. Mrs. Wilson is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.
