Thelma Steuart Maroon, age 102 of Murfreesboro, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. She was born on September 8, 1916 in Roy, Arkansas the daughter of the late Luther and Mary Ann Oliver Steuart.
She was a member of the Murfreesboro Church of Christ.
Mrs. Maroon was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Maroon, two granddaughters Jamie Owens and Amanda Shaddox, and a son in law Bill Owens.
Survivors include one son Billy Maroon and wife Louise of Murfreesboro, AR; three daughters Jean Owens of Plano, TX; Sharon Hinton and husband Mike of Texarkana, TX; Connie Jones and husband Jerry of Murfreesboro, AR; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 25, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 26, at Japany Cemetery with Rob Evans and Tommy Mounts officiating. Under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
