Her mother's maiden name was Elizabeth Huff. Her mother's name, place and date of birth and full date and place of death from "Arkansas Death Certificate Index: 1935-1960," compiled by the Arkansas Genealogical Society.
According to her marriage license, "Miss Nellie Lou Atkinson" married D O Sims in Garland County, Arkansas, February 6, 1932.
