Vollie Mae Hester, age 73 of Searcy, died Wednesday, March 5, 2008 in Searcy.
She was born Friday, February 15, 1935 in Higginson, Arkansas. She was a home maker and a member of the Whitney Lane Family Worship Center.
She is survived by three sons, Stephen Ray Hester and wife Robin Sue of Memphis, Kenneth Allen Hester of Searcy, Leonard Lee Hester and wife Melissa of Searcy; two daughters, Angela Ruth Higby and husband Tommy of Lakeland, Florida, Vicky Marlena Hester of Judsonia; three sisters, Vaccal Holt and husband Darrell of McRae, Bessie Williams of Pasadena, Texas, Verna Jean Payne of Russellville; 15 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Rebecca Grubbs ; and one brother, Robert Earl Payne.
Visitation is Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Beebe.
