ROGERS - Opal I. Fatchell-McDaniel, 91, of Rogers died Aug. 18, 2005, at Beverly Healthcare. She was born July 24, 1914, in War Eagle to Jack Hegwood and Ellen Sharp Hegwood. She was a member of Christ Church in Rogers and the Ladies Church Circle. A lifelong resident of the area, Fatchell-McDaniel enjoyed cooking and working with her flowers. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Patchell; her second husband, Guy McDaniel and a grandson, Ricky Eric Patchell.
Survivors include a son, Ed Patchell and wife Barbara of Bentonville; a stepson, Leslie McDaniel and wife Sarah of North Little Rock; a daughter, Mary Ellen Williamson and husband the Rev. Willie Williamson of Batesville; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Callison-Lough Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers. Burial will follow at Rogers City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
