MELVIN L. McGAUGH
Melvin Lee McGaugh, 62, Rt. 6, Springdale died July 30 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born Dec. 1, 1914, at Mt. Hebron in Benton County, he was the son of Robert Lee and Donie Holmes McGaugh. He was a Methodist and a retired auto mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Agnes Virginia McGaugh of the home. Seven sons, Michael Edward McGaugh, Springdale, Robert Morris McGaugh, Telferner, Tex., Melvin McGaugh, Gulfport, Miss., Clifford Lee McGaugh, Texas City, Tex., and James Dale McGaugh, William Eugene McGaugh and Alexander Philip McGaugh, all of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Verer Roper, Gepp, Ark., Mrs. Betty Jane Harris, Springdale, Mrs. Nancy Napolitano, Jacksonville, Ark., Patricia Ann McGaugh of the home; one brother, Johnnie McGaugh, Springdale; one sister, Mrs, Dorothy Rivers, Chattanooga, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Sisco Chapel with burial in Mt. Hebron, Cemetery.
