Mattie Hines Little, 80, of Fordyce, died Monday. She is survived by three sons, Erna Little of Hampton, Carvin Little of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Lee Little of Camden; five daughters, Mrs. Tom Weeks of Fordyce, Mrs. Q. D. David of Shreveport, Mrs. O. W. Copeland of Memphis, Mrs. Vivian Minner of Memphis and Mrs. Jack Newton of Hampton; two sisters, Mrs. Walter Porter of Hampton and Mrs. Herbert Henderson of Fordyce; 23 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Temple Baptist Church. Burial will be in Dickinson Cemetery near Hampton by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. (Camden News - November 24, 1970)
