Wife of David McKnight
Daughter of Elmer Eugene and Romona Ramsey Whitson
J. DeLayne McKnight, 56, of Clarksville died Tuesday, Aug, 30, 2011, at her home.
She was a daughter of Elmer Eugene and Ramona Ramsey Whitson, native of Pampanga Philippines, licensed practical nurse, Methodist, and preceded in death by one brother, Stephen Lee Whitson; and two grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, David McKnight; one daughter, Rebecca Teach and husband, Jeremy, of Carthage, N.Y.; one son, David McKnight and wife, Lekisha, of Coal Hill; three grandchildren; one sister, Marla Arredondo and husband, Andres; and one brother, James Richard Whitson and Linda.
A celebration of life service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, at Hedgeway Church followed by burial at West Mt. Zion Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Community Funeral Service.
