Heber Springs, Arkansas
Cara Gail Allen, age 10 months, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at the Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. She was born in Little Rock on April 21, 2008.
Cara is survived by her parents, Greg and Candyce (Spurlin) Allen; brother, Kenneth Ray Allen, and sister, Chloe Lee Allen; grandparents, Max and Dianne Allen, Glenda King, Robert Spurlin, and Krisi Spurlin; and great grandmother, Dorothy O’Dell Wood. Cara is also survived by other relatives and many friends of the family.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Bennie Foster officiating. Interment will follow in the Good Springs Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are the doctors, nurses, and staff of Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital, 1 Children’s Way, Little Rock, AR 72202-3591.
